Bryan Post is the founder of the Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy (www.postinstitute.com). An internationally recognized expert in the area of attachment and bonding, his work is specifically focused on giving children the best from the start and helping parents stay focused on love when facing the fear of parenting challenges.

Author of more than 30 books, dvds, and audio programs, Bryan has spent more than a decade teaching parents and professionals how to view themselves and their children from a place of understanding, awareness, flexibility and love.

An adoptee and former foster child, he is most well known for his work with traumatized children. Bryan melds his personal life experiences as a challenging child and teen with his unique understanding of neuroscience to offer common sense and highly applicable guidance to parents.

His methods and theoretical model (The Stress Model) have been taught at medical schools, colleges, and universities. He holds a bachelors, masters and doctoral degree in clinical social work.  His favorite pastimes include lying around the on the floor taking naps and wrestling with his own girls, reading, writing, and riding his Harley Davidson. Bryan lives with his family in Virginia Beach, VA.
